This unique artwork at Tugatog Cemetery is a statue of the devil standing on top of a tomb with St. Michael under his feet. The man buried in the tomb is Don Simeon Bernardo who wanted the statue to be a reminder of evil in the world.
Bamboo Organ

After eight years of construction, Father Diego Cera finished building an organ out of bamboo at Las Piñas’ Saint Joseph Parish in 1824. In order to retain its sound, metal stops were used; however, the rest of the organ is entirely made of bamboo. After being restored in 1972, the organ can once again be played, featuring as the centerpiece of the annual Bamboo Organ Festival.

Encompassing 40.5 hectares (100 acres) in northern Manila, this cemetery has been home to a living community for more than 70 years. It began when poor people started living at their family crypts, and today more than 10,000 Filipinos call the cemetery home despite there being no electricity, hot water, or sewage system.
Marikina Shoe Museum

More than 1,000 pairs of shoes are on display at this museum in Marikina, the Philippines’ shoe capital. Of the shoes exhibited, 749 belonged to Imelda Marcos. Known as the Iron Butterfly, Marcos ruled the country from the mid-1960s until 1986 when she was exiled. Today, her shoe collection has become a symbol of her evil regime.
World’s Largest Shoes

A pair of men’s dress shoes built in Marikina, the capital of Filipino shoe production, set a Guinness World Record in 2002 for being the world’s largest shoes. Measuring around 5 meters (17 feet) long and 2.4 m (8 ft) wide, the shoes were made in 77 days and cost over 2 million Philippine pesos. The huge loafers are on display at Marikina's Riverbanks Center.
