Dengue is a year-round risk in many parts of the world, with outbreaks commonly occurring every 2–5 years. Travelers to risk areas should prevent mosquito bites. Destination List: Afghanistan, and Austral Islands (Tubuai and Rurutu), and Bora-Bora), Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, including the Galápagos Islands, El Salvador, Ethiopia, French Polynesia, including the island groups of Society Islands (Tahiti, Grenada, Guadeloupe, Guatemala, Honduras, India, Iran, Mali, Marquesas Islands (Hiva Oa and Ua Huka), Mexico, Moorea, Pakistan, Panama, Philippines, Saint Lucia, Sudan, Trinidad and Tobago
