APO Hiking Society 

Formed in 1969, APO Hiking Society is a Filipino musical trio known for their pop and folk music. The band members include Jim Paredes, Boboy Garovillo, and Danny Javier. Their music often features complex vocal harmonies and a mix of traditional Filipino and Western instruments. Some of their most famous songs include "Batang-Bata Ka Pa," "Ewan," and "Pumapatak Ang Ulan."

Up Dharma Down 

Formed in 2004, Up Dharma Down is a Filipino band known for their experimental and alternative music. The band members include Armi Millare (vocals, keyboards), Carlos Tanada (guitar), Paul Yap (bass), and Ean Mayor (drums). Their music often features intricate melodies, atmospheric soundscapes, and lyrics that tackle personal and social issues. Some of their most famous songs include "Tadhana," "Oo," and "Anino."

The Dawn

Formed in 1985, the band consists of Jett Pangan (vocals), Teddy Diaz (guitar), JB Leonor (drums), and Carlos Balcells (bass). Their music is a mix of new wave, post-punk, and alternative rock. Some of their most famous songs are "Salamat," "Enveloped Ideas," and "Iisang Bangka Tayo."

Aegis

Formed in 1995, the band consists of sisters Juliet, Mercy, and Kris Sunot, Stella Maries Galindo, and Vilma Goloviogo. Their music mixes pop and rock, often with power ballads and emotional themes. Some of their most famous songs are "Halik," "Basang-basa sa Ulan," and "Luha."

Kamikazee

Formed in 2000, the band consists of Jay Contreras (vocals), Jomal Linao (guitar), Led Tuyay (guitar), Puto Astete (bass), and Bords Burdeos (drums). Eraserheads 

This rock band formed in 1989 and consists of Ely Buendia (vocals, guitar), Marcus Adoro (guitar), Buddy Zabala (bass), and Raymund Marasigan (drums). They are considered one of the most successful and influential bands in the Philippines, known for their unique sound and relatable lyrics. Some of their most famous songs include "Ligaya," "Ang Huling El Bimbo," and "Pare Ko."

Parokya ni Edgar

This alternative rock band formed in 1993 and is composed of Chito Miranda (vocals), Vinci Montaner (guitar), Darius Semaña (guitar), Gabriel Chee Kee (keyboards), Buhawi Meneses (bass), Dindin Moreno (drums), and Ian Tayao (guitar). They are known for their humorous and often satirical lyrics. Some of their most famous songs include "Buloy," "Harana," and "The Yes Yes Show."

Rivermaya 

This rock band was formed in 1993 and has undergone several lineup changes over the years. Some of the notable members include Bamboo Mañalac (vocals), Rico Blanco (vocals, guitar), and Mark Escueta (drums). They are known for their melodic and introspective songs.
