Dumping buckets, an elephant-shaped slide, and other obstacles are found in the children’s swimming area. A heated pool and hot tubs feature hydrotherapy massage. Those looking for some exercise can swim laps or practice water aerobics in the pool. Adults can relax and soak up heat in the sauna. A restaurant serves refreshments. 

DreamPlay

Located inside the City of Dreams Manila resort, DreamPlay is a children’s theme park featuring characters from their favorite DreamWorks films. It offers a variety of family-friendly entertainment for all ages. Kids can explore scenes from movies such as Trolls, Kung Fu Panda, Shrek, and How to Train Your Dragon. Attractions include a mix of interactive shows, rides, games, activities, and other experiences that will make guests laugh, play, and dance. A variety of shopping and dining options are available at the resort. 

Enchanted Kingdom

About 29 kilometers (18 miles) south of Manila, Enchanted Kingdom is one of the Philippines’ most popular amusement parks. It offers a variety of family-friendly dining, shopping, and entertainment. Rides for all ages include a train, bumper boats, roller coasters, virtual reality experiences, rotating swings, go-karts, bumper cars, and more. Live shows feature dancing, singing, magic, animal encounters, and other performances. Additional attractions are laser tag, paintball competitions, swan boats, and a Ferris wheel. Visitors can test their skills playing various games such as darts and ring toss with the chance of winning prizes. Refreshments and souvenirs are available. 

Jed's Island Resort

An hour's drive north of central Manila will take you to the province of Bulacan and a distinctive aquatic theme park that spells fun for all the family. Across eight hectares of space you can explore 11 different swimming areas including pools designated for young children and proficient swimmers. You can also fish and boat on the natural ponds and lakes. Those not keen on swimming can instead enjoy the fairground rides, pool hall, and basketball court. This is a great place for a day trip or more, as plenty of accommodation options are available. 

Manila Bay

Manila Bay is one of the world’s most exquisite natural harbors. It encompasses approximately 1,700 square kilometers (656 square miles) and measures 60 kilometers (37 miles) long and up to 48 kilometers (30 miles) wide. There are many islands across the bay’s entrance. The largest is Corregidor, which divides the bay into two channels. The south channel contains El Fraile Island, which has an area of 1.6 hectares (4 acres) and houses the huge concrete and steel remains of Fort Drum (a defensive island fortress). A variety of water recreation is available, such as swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, boat tours, fishing, parasailing, and more.

Manila Ocean Park

Manila Ocean Park is an oceanarium located behind Quirino Grandstand in Rizal Park. It is home to around 14,000 marine animals representing around 250 species, such as sea lions, jellyfish, penguins, stingrays, sharks, and turtles. A walk-through underwater tunnel offers spectacular up-close views. Visitors can pet rabbits, chickens, and guinea pigs at the Barnyard, see penguins on Trails to Antarctica, and hand feed colorful budgies inside the Birdhouse. World of Creepy Crawlies is home to lizards, insects, spiders, frogs, and worms. Other attractions include a huge toy collection, pedal car rides equipped with LED lights, birds of prey exhibit, ball pit, an augmented reality experience, and bird shows. Shops and restaurants sell souvenirs and refreshments.

Manila Zoo

Manila Zoo encompasses 5.5 hectares (nearly 14 acres) and is home to about 500 animals. These represent more than 100 species of mammals, reptiles, and birds, in addition to 600 species of plants. The animal population includes endemic and rare species of animals, like the bearcat, long-tailed macaques, and crocodiles. The garden also includes several canteens, a beautiful lagoon with boating facilities, an amphitheater, playgrounds, and many souvenir shops.

Rizal Park

Encompassing 58 hectares (143 acres) in the heart of Manila, Rizal Park (or Luneta Park) was established as a tribute to the Filipino national hero, Jose Rizal. The park houses gardens, the Rizal Monument, Rizal's execution site, a pool and fountains, a big relief map displaying the entire Philippine archipelago, a stadium, an observatory, a theater, a gallery, an open-air concert building, and restaurants. The bronze and gravel Rizal monument lies at the center of the park, along with a mausoleum that houses Rizal's remains. At the northern end is the 3D diorama of Rizal's execution, called Lights and Sounds of Rizal. Other attractions include the National Library of the Philippines, the Orchidarium, and Butterfly Pavilion.

SM Mall of Asia

One of the country’s largest megamalls, SM Mall of Asia offers a variety of shopping, dining, and entertainment for families. For a panoramic view of the city, visitors can take a ride on the MOA EYE, a 55-meter-tall (180-foot-tall) Ferris wheel. Other attractions include a cinema, gaming arcade, ice-skating rink, virtual reality experience, laser tag arena, bowling alley, and more. A range of eateries serve refreshments. 

Splash Island

One of the Philippines’ largest waterparks, Splash Island is a great place for families to spend a summer day. Agos Grandes is the park’s popular wave pool. In addition, there is a playground with water obstacles, lazy river, and a variety of waterslides for all ages. A food court serves refreshments, and a shop sells souvenirs. Locker rentals are available, and a shuttle service provides transportation to a number of nearby locations. 

Star City

An amusement park in Pasay, Star City is a popular place for families to experience a fun-filled day. A variety of rides include bumper cars, carousels, spinning teacups, bumper boats, roller coasters, a 60-meter-tall (197-foot-tall) Ferris wheel, log flume, train, and more. Some rides have height restrictions. Inside the Art Alive Museum, guests can interact with more than 30 paintings for memorable photo opportunities. Refreshments are available. Groups and parties are welcome.

The Mind Museum

Situated within JY Campos Park in Metro Manila’s Taguig, The Mind Museum opened in 2012 and today has more than 250 interactive science-related exhibits. Guests can learn about gravity, dinosaurs, electromagnetism, outer space, animals, and more. Playtales is a special area designed specifically for children ages 2 to 6 years old. Outside, visitors can explore the museum’s botanical garden. 

Upside Down Museum

The perfect place for unique photo opportunities, Upside Down Museum features a variety of oversized objects and a complete house turned upside down. Tour the home’s living room, kitchen, dining room, bedroom, office, and bathroom where everything is upside down. There is even an upside-down bridge with cars on it. Throughout the museum, visitors can capture photographs of head-scratching poses that make memorable keepsakes to remember the experience by forever.
