Ingredients

  • 2 cups (160 g) lato (sea grape) seaweed
  • 2 medium Roma tomatoes, diced
  • 2 medium shallots, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp (2.5 ml) salt
  • 2 Tbsp (30 ml) vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp (30 ml) lime juice
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) sugar
  • 1/2 tsp (2.5 ml) white pepper
  • 2 Tbsp (30 ml) green onions, chopped

Directions

  1. Mix shallots, salt, vinegar, lime juice, sugar, and pepper in serving dish.
  2. Add tomatoes and seaweed. Toss well.
  3. Adjust seasonings for a tangy-salty taste.
  4. Let sit for 10 minutes for flavors to meld before serving.
  5. Garnish with green onions and serve.
